Click here to order the New York Symphonic Brass Premiere CD.$20 - including shipping In July and August of 2005, the New York Symphonic Brass performed with the New York Symphonic Ensemble under the direction of Maestro Mamoru Takahara as part of their annual tour to Japan. This year, the ensemble was also privileged to travel to Taiwan. As an introduction to our friends and fellow musicians in Japan and Taiwan, we prepared this special recording of brass music encompassing the Ars Nova, Renaissance, and the Baroque. The New York Symphonic Brass performs many original arrangements, some of which are heard for the first time on this disc. We have also included music from the standard brass quintet repertoire that will be familiar to our fellow brass instrumentalists. We are pleased to announce that this recording is now available to our many enthusiastic and loyal supporters here in the United States.
